May Dates for ADVANCED SYMPHONIC

May 3rd: Peaks Music Festival, String Orchestra, 11:25am-2:00pm (Murchison Auditorium, UNT, Denton)
May 11th: Peaks Music Festival, Full Symphony, 3:45pm-5:30pm (Wakeland HS Auditorium, Frisco)
May 16th: Band Concert (LHS, 6pm)
May 23rd: Orchestra Concert (LHS, 6pm)

Students are required to participate in the listed festivals and concerts.

Part 1, 6:00pm: Advanced Symphonic Only & Fowler Symphony

(recording for Honor Orchestra State Competition)

Part 2, 6:45pm: STRINGS, Beginner O/Intermediate, Symphonic Orchestra

Part 1 students MUST arrive by 5:15pm and go straight to the auditorium for tuning at warm up

Part 2 students MUST arrive and go straight to the cafeteria for tuning at 6:30pm

Students MUST wear their Orchestra Polos/All Black

8th graders may wear "something nice" to their last concert. No jeans, no sneakers, no flip flops, no tshirts

STEPS TO KEEPING OURSELVES
CLEAN AND GERM FREE
IN THE ORCHESTRA ROOM
(as much as possible)

* Wash your hands before walking into the orchestra room
* Keep a cleaning cloth in your case and clean your instrument after every time you play
* Keep fingernails cut short!
*Cover your mouth ALL THE WAY when you sneeze!
*Cover your mouth with you yawn!
*Blow your nose at the back of the room, then wash your hands
* Wash your hands, Wash your hands, Wash your hands!!!!
